After SP flash tool failed to flash latest TWRP 3x I've also tried this flashable recovery: https://www.needrom.com/download/twrp-3-1-1-0-recovery-for-a7000material-light/
But same error, phone doesn't boot after it. I only could flash TWRP 2.8 but not the "boot.img" so no Root for me.
Did someone Root build number S308 (MM) ???
